Togo Shrine's Summer Great Purification (Nagoshi-no-Oharae) on June 30 is a Shinto rite washing away the impurities of the first half of the year. The ceremony begins at 14:00.
From 18:30, the Mitama Festival and lantern floating take place at the shrine's Sea Shrine (Umi-no-Miya) — a beautiful, contemplative evening event in Harajuku.
東郷神社の夏越大祓は6月30日、上半年の罪穢を祓い清める神事。14:00から斎行されます。
18:30からは海の宮でみたま祭・合同慰霊祭・灯籠流しが行われます。原宿の静謐で幻想的な夕べの行事。
