About This Event / イベントについて
The Meiji Jingu Gyoen Iris Garden blooms with approximately 150 species and 1,500 plants each June. The garden was originally planted by Emperor Meiji for Empress Shoken — one of Tokyo's most historic and intimate floral experiences.
Special extended hours in June (8:00 weekdays, 8:00 weekends). The garden also features Kiyomasa's Well, a famous power spot. Peak bloom is typically June 10–15. Admission is ¥500 for adults.
明治神宮御苑の花菖蒲は毎年6月に約150種・1,500株が咲き誇ります。明治天皇が昭憲皇太后のために植えさせた歴史ある庭園で、東京で最も親密な花の体験の一つです。
6月は特別延長営業（平日8:00～17:00、土日8:00～18:00）。パワースポットとして知られる清正井もあります。見頃は例年6月10日～15日。入苑料¥500。

Fewer crowds on rainy days — the irises look beautiful wet.
雨の日の人出が少ない。花菖蒲は濡れても美しい。
Early morning is best for photography.
